Ferraz Shawmut Power Distribution Blocks afford a safe, convenient way of splicing cables, splitting primary power into a variety of secondary circuits or providing a fixed junction tap-off point. Power block options include up to 7 primary connections with up to 30 secondary connections.

How to choose

Each row is one wire combination; pick your row, then the number of poles.

  1. Connection: Box to Box, Box to Stud or Stud to Stud (the lists below).
  2. Wire: the primary and secondary wire range (AWG/kcmil) or stud size, with the openings or studs per pole in brackets. These copper connectors take copper wire only; the 67000 series has aluminum connectors, for aluminum or copper wire.
  3. Poles: a 1, 2 or 3 pole block, or an adder pole, which snaps onto a 1, 2 or 3 pole block; adder poles lock together to form as many poles as required.

Ampere ratings are based on NEC Table 310-16 for 75 °C copper wire.

SCCR: short-circuit current rating 100 kA with a correctly sized fuse, except adder blocks.
